// The Majic AI Gate

Let your team climb. We put the gate at the top of the stairs.

The Majic AI Gate is an AI firewall: a local AI model on your network that checks every AI request first. Low-risk work goes straight through. Sensitive data and risky actions stop at the gate until a person says yes.

Why a gate

AI is many things. It is not creative on its own. People are.

A good example is raising kids. Some of the most surprising moments come when parents let a kid be a kid.

My two-year-old daughter learned early to climb the stairs. Now that we don't have to carry her up, we save an extra trip when we bring in the groceries. We know we can't watch her every moment, so we put a baby gate at the top of the stairs. It allows the low-risk climb up and blocks the high-risk fall down, unless someone is there.

Majic is the parent placing the gates. Your staff training can focus on what your people can do with AI, not on fear of the risk.

How the gate works

Every request passes the gate before it goes anywhere.

The gate is a local AI model on your network. It reads each request and makes one of four calls, using rules we set with you.

We run our own company behind the same kind of gate: plan pages are read by AI models on our own servers, and names and places are removed before anything reaches an outside model.

Where the gates go

Most of the staircase stays open.

We map your stairs with you. A typical business ends up with three kinds of steps.

Climb freely

Low risk, no gate

  • Drafting and rewriting
  • Summarizing public information
  • Research and brainstorming
  • Formatting, spreadsheets and outlines
Gated

A person says yes

  • Customer and employee data
  • Emails and messages that leave the company
  • Changes to records
  • Payments and orders
Locked

Never leaves

  • Passwords and keys
  • Card and bank account numbers
  • Anything your policy keeps inside

Training that starts with yes

Because the gate handles the falls, training covers the climbing.

Your people learn what they can do with AI on their own jobs and their own documents. New hires get the same gate on day one.

  1. Map the stairs

Which data and which actions carry risk in your business.

  2. Place the gates

The local model and the rules on your network, connected to the AI tools you approve.

  3. Train the team

By role, on what they can do.

  4. Review the log

Together each month: open what has proven safe, tighten what has not.
